Stable temperature readings depend on a probe that transfers heat cleanly and withstands the installation conditions around it. This resistance thermometer is built for process temperature measurement with Pt100 or Pt1000 elements and covers standard measuring temperatures from -70°C...+300°C, with high-temperature versions up to +500°C or +600°C available by request.
The measuring element is embedded in magnesium oxide powder inside the protection tube. This supports good heat transfer and vibration protection, helping the sensor deliver reproducible readings in demanding measuring points. Tolerance classes AA, A and B according to IEC 60751 give users a clear basis for selecting the accuracy level required by the application.
Configuration options make the probe adaptable to different plant layouts. Seamless stainless steel protection tubes in 1.4571, selectable process connections, connection heads, fixed cables and plug systems support integration on site, while head transmitter options provide 4...20 mA or 0...10 V output where a standardized signal is needed.
The probe uses a platinum resistance element, with Pt100 as standard and Pt1000 or other elements available by request.
Sensor versions include 1x Pt100 in 2-, 3- or 4-wire connection, 2x Pt100 in 2x 2-wire or 2x 3-wire connection, and 3x Pt100 in 3x 2-wire connection.
The product can be configured with connection heads, fixed connection cable, flying leads for head transmitter mounting, Lemo plug system or M12 plug system.
Head transmitter configurations are available with 4...20 mA or 0...10 V output, as well as software-programmable and PROFIBUS PA interface versions.
Protection tubes, flanges and process connections are specified in 1.4571 stainless steel, with special materials available by request.
Preferred sensor lengths are 50 mm, 100 mm and 150 mm. Neck tube versions are available with a preferred length of 100 mm or custom lengths by request.
