Acidic and alkaline media place high demands on every process-contacting component. This resistance thermometer is designed for process temperature measurement where chemical resistance matters, with ETFE-coated DIN flanges in DN25, DN40 or DN50 and 1.4571 stainless steel probe materials.
The platinum resistance element supports accurate and reproducible temperature measurement in tolerance classes AA, A and B according to IEC 60751. For the PTZ order configuration, these accuracy classes are specified up to +180°C. Magnesium oxide filling inside the protection tube supports heat transfer and vibration protection, helping the sensor deliver stable readings at the measuring tip.
The product can be adapted to different measuring points with Pt100 or Pt1000 sensor versions, multiple probe diameters, reduced-tip variants, fixed or exchangeable measuring inserts and a neck tube. Connection options include terminal socket, M12 plug and head transmitter interfaces for 4...20 mA, 0...10 V or PROFIBUS PA integration.
The product is available with 1x Pt100 in 2-, 3- or 4-wire connection, 2x Pt100 in 2- or 3-wire connection, 1x Pt1000 in 3-wire connection and 3x Pt100 in 2-wire connection.
Flange options include DIN flange DN25 PN40, DN40 PN40 and DN50 PN40 with ETFE coating. Special versions such as special coatings are available by request.
Process-side 1.4571 probe options include 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm and 12 mm diameters, with reduced-tip versions listed for selected probe sizes.
The sensor can be configured with or without neck tube. The standard neck tube length is 100 mm, with custom lengths available.
Connection head materials and designs include PP, Delrin, aluminum, stainless steel, PTFE, double-size aluminum and other designs by request.
The measuring insert can be fixed-mounted or exchangeable. The high-temperature version requires an exchangeable measuring insert.
Connection types include terminal socket, wire ends, 5-pole M12 plug, 2x terminal socket, 2x head transmitter connection and head transmitter interfaces.
