Accredited quality across two specialized locations

Accredited and traceable calibration services from our laboratories in Italy and Germany.

Senseca provides calibration services through its laboratories in Padua, Italy, and Regenstauf, Germany. Our services support instrument accuracy, measurement reliability, metrological traceability and quality-management requirements.

Padua brings together six ACCREDIA-accredited calibration laboratories covering temperature, humidity, pressure, photo-radiometry, air speed and acoustics. Regenstauf provides DAkkS-accredited temperature calibration and ISO 9001 factory calibration services for selected instruments and measurement quantities.

Depending on the requested service and documentation, additional accredited calibration options may also be available through approved partner laboratories.

Our Calibration Laboratories in Italy and Germany

Padua, Italy - Six accredited laboratories in one Calibration Centre

Our Padua Calibration Centre brings together six specialized laboratories accredited by ACCREDIA, Italy’s national accreditation body, for temperature, humidity, pressure, photo-radiometry, air speed and acoustics.

Each laboratory operates within its published ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation scope and uses traceable reference standards, dedicated equipment and established calibration procedures. Services are available for Senseca instruments and products from other manufacturers, with accredited calibration certificates issued for eligible instruments, measurement quantities and ranges.

The centre also provides ISO 9001 calibration reports for selected instruments or configurations outside the accredited scope, together with support in defining suitable calibration points and documentation requirements.

Regenstauf, Germany - Accredited laboratory and factory calibration in Germany

Our Regenstauf laboratory provides temperature calibration accredited by DAkkS, Germany’s national accreditation body, together with ISO 9001 factory calibration certificates for selected instruments and measurement quantities. DAkkS is the national accreditation authority of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Services include standard calibration packages, customer-selected test points and, for selected Senseca instruments, adjustment or optimization before calibration. The laboratory supports temperature instruments as well as selected conductivity, pH, CO₂ and oxygen measuring devices, depending on the requested configuration and documentation.

Where the required quantity, range or accreditation scope is not available in-house, additional accredited calibration options may be provided through approved partner laboratories.

International recognition of accredited Calibration Certificates

Accredited once, accepted worldwide

Senseca’s ISO/IEC 17025 calibration certificates are issued within the accredited scopes of laboratories assessed by ACCREDIA and DAkkS.

Both accreditation bodies participate in the international mutual-recognition system historically established through the ILAC MRA. Since 1 January 2026, this framework has continued under the Multilateral Recognition Arrangement of Global Accreditation Cooperation Incorporated.

The arrangement is based on peer evaluation and mutual acceptance between accreditation bodies, supporting international recognition of accredited calibration results and reducing the need for duplicate calibration when instruments, products or measurement results cross national borders.

International recognition applies only to calibration activities included in the laboratory’s accredited scope and may remain subject to specific contractual, customer or regulatory requirements.

International Acceptance
Accredited calibration certificates can be accepted by customers, regulators and quality organisations across participating markets.
Reduced Need for Duplications
International mutual recognition can reduce the need for additional calibration when instruments or products are used in another country.
Confidence in Competence
ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and peer evaluation provide independent evidence of laboratory competence, impartiality and measurement capability.

ISO/IEC 17025 Calibration Certificate or ISO 9001 Calibration Report?

ISO/IEC 17025
Accredited Calibration Certificate
Issued by ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories under the applicable accreditation, such as ACCREDIA or DAkkS. It provides recognised metrological traceability and is suitable for audits, compliance and quality management requirements. Certificates are covered by EA MLA and ILAC MRA mutual recognition agreements.
ISO 9001
Calibration Report
Documents the measurement error and measurement uncertainty using reference standards traceable to SI units. Padua issues ISO 9001 calibration reports, while Regenstauf issues ISO 9001 factory calibration certificates. These documents are not covered by EA MLA or ILAC MRA mutual recognition agreements and do not replace an accredited certificate when this is required.
