Critical gaseous processes need temperature readings that respond quickly and can be trusted in safety-related control chains. This safety RTD sensor measures exhaust gas and air with a typical T63.2 % step-response time of 20 s in exhaust gas and 22 s in air.
For safety temperature limiter applications, it is certified for STL50 in gaseous media according to SIL 2 (DIN EN 61508) and DIN EN 14597. The 2 x Pt100 class A, 3-wire measuring elements support reliable temperature detection across a maximum operating temperature of -100..+600 °C.
The stainless steel 1.4571 protection tube, 25 bar process pressure rating and IP65 aluminum BSZ terminal head suit robust process installation. A slide-able G 1/2 B clamp gland supports mounting with installation lengths from 100 to 600 mm.
The sensor contains 2 x Pt100 class A measuring elements in 3-wire configuration.
The standard variation is Ex certified according to ATEX Ex-ia IIC T6.
The protection tube is made from stainless steel 1.4571 and has a reduced diameter from 9 mm to 3 mm.
The process connection uses a slide-able G 1/2 B clamp gland for positioning during installation.
Available installation lengths are 100 mm, 160 mm, 250 mm, 400 mm and 600 mm, with custom lengths on request.
The aluminum BSZ terminal head includes a snap-lid and IP65.
