Reliable temperature measurement starts with a sensor that fits the process, the installation point and the required accuracy class. PTA resistance thermometers use standardized platinum measuring elements for process temperature measurement, with Pt100 as the main configuration and Pt1000 or other elements available by request.
The protective tube is made from seamless stainless steel 1.4571 and the sensing element is embedded with magnesium oxide powder, supporting good heat transfer and vibration protection. Standard measuring temperatures at the tip cover -70°C...+300°C, with high-temperature versions for +500°C/+600°C and low-temperature versions available by request.
The family gives engineers broad configuration freedom: 1x, 2x or 3x Pt100 versions, 2-, 3- or 4-wire circuits, tolerance classes AA, A and B according to IEC 60751, multiple connection heads, fixed or changeable measuring inserts, and optional head transmitter connections for 4...20 mA or 0...10 V outputs.
The sensor uses a platinum resistance element, mainly Pt100, with Pt1000 and other elements available by request.
Configurations include 1x Pt100 in 2-, 3- or 4-wire circuit, 2x Pt100 in 2x 2-wire or 2x 3-wire circuit, and 3x Pt100 in 3x 2-wire circuit.
Process-wetted protection tubes are made from seamless stainless steel 1.4571, with special materials available by request.
Connection options include aluminum, plastic or stainless steel heads, fixed connection cables, Lemo plug systems and M12 plug systems.
Standard configurations include male threads, union nut and DIN flange options. Other process connections are available by request.
The family includes fixed measuring inserts and changeable measuring inserts. Changeable inserts are mandatory for high-temperature versions.
Connection types are available for head transmitter mounting, fixed-value 4...20 mA or 0...10 V transmitters, software-programmable transmitters and PROFIBUS PA interface.
