Adjustable immersion depth helps temperature sensors fit the real installation, not the other way around. PTF resistance thermometers are designed as diving sleeve Pt100 sensors with sliding sleeve, giving users a practical solution for process temperature measurement where the insertion position must be adapted on site.
The sensor uses standardized platinum resistance elements with tolerance classes AA, A and B according to IEC 60751. The measuring element is embedded in magnesium oxide inside the protective tube and hermetically sealed, supporting heat transfer and vibration protection. Standard measuring temperatures at the tip cover -70°C…+300°C, with +500°C/+600°C high-temperature versions and low-temperature versions available by request.
The family can be configured for 1x Pt100, 2x Pt100, 3x Pt100 or 1x Pt1000 circuits, with fixed or exchangeable measuring inserts. Process-side materials include stainless steel 1.4571 as the standard choice, with heat-resistant steel 1.4841 up to 1100°C and other materials available by request.
The sensor uses Pt100 platinum resistance elements, with Pt1000 and other measuring elements available by request.
Configurations include 1x Pt100 in 2-, 3- or 4-wire circuit, 2x Pt100 in 2x 2-wire or 2x 3-wire circuit, 3x Pt100 in 3x 2-wire circuit, and 1x Pt1000 in 3-wire circuit.
The product is specified as a standard diving sleeve resistance thermometer with sliding sleeve. Sensor tube diameters include 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm and 15 mm x 2 mm options.
Connection heads are available in PP, Delrin, aluminum, stainless steel and PTFE versions, including small, large and double-size designs.
The family includes fixed and exchangeable measuring inserts. Exchangeable inserts are mandatory for high-temperature versions.
Connection variants are available for fixed-value 4…20 mA or 0…10 V transmitters, UTN-500 software programmable transmitters and PTN-600 PROFIBUS PA interface.
