TV500P

Loop-powered isolating converter for standard analog signals, adapting 0..20 mA, 4..20 mA, ±20 mA, 0..10 V, 2..10 V or ±10 V inputs to a passive 4..20 mA output.

Introduction

Compact signal isolation becomes easier when no separate supply wiring is needed. TV500P isolates and adapts standard analog signals to active inputs of SPC and DC systems, powered directly through the 4..20 mA output loop.
 
The device handles current and voltage inputs including 0..20 mA, 4..20 mA, ±20 mA, 0..10 V, 2..10 V and ±10 V. A selectable increasing or decreasing output characteristic supports standard and inverted signal behavior, while the 20 mA end value can be adjusted by ±5 % from the front.
 
For space-conscious control cabinets, TV500P is available as a 1- or 2-channel device in a 22.5 mm DIN rail case. Full 2-port isolation, a 14..30 V DC loop voltage range and output switching to 22 mA on defined input underrange or overrange help create a clear, practical interface to the control system.

Features

Input ranges

Versions accept 0..20 mA and 0..10 V DC, 4..20 mA and 2..10 V DC, or ±20 mA and ±10 V DC input signals.

Passive current output

The output provides a passive 4..20 mA signal. The maximum burden depends on loop voltage according to Rmax = (UB-14 V) ÷ 20 mA.

Output characteristic

The characteristic curve can be specified as increasing or decreasing, supporting normal or inverted output behavior.

Channel versions

TV500P is available as a 1-channel or 2-channel device. Each channel has its own power-on LED and front-side end value adjustment.

Signal response

Rise time is below 70 ms. If the input signal falls below -34 % or exceeds +34 %, the output switches to 22 mA.

DIN rail housing

The standard polycarbonate case mounts on TS35 DIN rails and provides case IP30 with IP20 terminals.
