Process control systems need temperature signals that are easy to scale, transmit and monitor. This transmitter converts thermovoltages from Type J, K or S thermocouples into standard analog signals, giving control cabinets a temperature-linear 0/4...20 mA or 0/2...10 V DC output.
The measuring range is programmed from the side using four rotary switches in 25 °C steps, with fine adjustment of start and end value by \pm5 %. This makes it practical for tailored process ranges across Type J from -100...800 °C, Type K from -150...1200 °C and Type S from 0...1600 °C.
Integrated cold junction compensation and full 3-port isolation support stable operation in industrial installations. A 2-color LED shows power, operating mode and diagnostic states, including sensor break, input range errors and incorrect DIP-switch position.
The input is programmable for Type J, Type K and Type S thermocouples using front-side DIP switches.
Start and end values are programmed with four side rotary switches, with intermediate adjustment via two trim pots.

A sensor break moves the output to the end value plus 1 % for overflow indication. Sensor short circuit has no indication.
