This resistance temperature probe is designed for temperature measurement in explosive atmospheres and combines an M12 connection with a threaded insertion design.
Pt100 and Pt1000 versions use sheathed resistance thermometer elements in 4-wire design. Depending on configuration, Pt100/Pt1000 versions cover -50 ... +100 °C without neck tube. With neck tube, Pt100 versions cover -200 °C ... +600 °C and Pt1000 versions cover -70 °C ... +600 °C, while the Ex temperature class can restrict the usable range.
The standard GTF 112-Ex design includes a G 1/2"A thread, 100 mm probe length and 6 mm probe tube diameter, with a stainless steel probe tube. Versions with neck tube are listed with HL = 50 mm and HD = 8 mm. Configurable probe tube diameters from 3 to 8 mm and multiple thread types and sizes support different installation requirements.
The probe is available with sheathed Pt100 or Pt1000 resistance thermometer elements in class B.
