Digital pressure sensors for air and non-aggressive gases

GMSD

Digital pressure sensors for air and non-aggressive gases, covering differential, relative and absolute pressure from 1.999 mbar to 10.00 bar, with integrated sensor data memory and hose connection.

Introduction

For portable pressure checks on air and clean gases, this sensor family gives technicians a compact measuring element that connects directly to compatible GMH handheld instruments or the GDUSB 1000 pressure measuring system.

The family covers differential, relative and absolute pressure measurement, with ranges from 1.999 ... +2.500 mbar up to 1.00 ... +10.00 bar and absolute variants up to 7.00 bar abs. Piezoresistive sensing, typical hysteresis and linearity accuracy of ±0.2 % FS, and stored sensor data for measuring range and calibration support reliable identification and measurement in the field.

The ABS housing with integrated suspension eye keeps handling simple, while two nylon hose connection stubs fit 6 x 1 mm hoses. K31 versions use a shielded PVC cable with 6-pin Mini-DIN connector; K51 versions use a shielded PVC cable with 7-pin bayonet connector.

Wide pressure choice
Covers differential, relative and absolute ranges from 1.999 mbar to 10.00 bar.
Clear gas application
Designed for air and non-corrosive, non-ionizing gases.
Reliable readings
Typical hysteresis and linearity accuracy is ±0.2 % FS.
Fast sensor setup
Integrated data memory stores measuring range and calibration data.

Features

Pressure measurement types

The family includes differential pressure sensors for true differential or relative pressure and absolute pressure sensors for absolute pressure measurement.

Compatible instrument series

K31 variants connect to GMH 31xx handheld meters and GDUSB 1000. K51 variants connect to GMH 51xx handheld meters.

Piezoresistive sensor element

The sensors use a piezoresistive pressure measurement principle for the listed pressure ranges and gas applications.

Hose connection

Two nylon connection stubs accept plastic hoses with 6 mm outside diameter and 4 mm inside diameter.

Sensor electronics

The housing integrates a circuit board with amplifier and data memory for measuring range, calibration and related sensor data.

Housing and cable

The ABS housing includes a suspension eye. K31 variants use a 6-pin Mini-DIN connector, while K51 variants use a 7-pin bayonet connector.

Operating conditions

The sensors operate at 0 ... +50 °C and 0 ... +95 % r.F. in non-condensing conditions.
