For timber processing, building inspection and material quality checks, direct moisture readings save time and reduce correction work. The device displays absolute moisture for 494 material types and can automatically convert values to water content, removing the need for separate calculation tables.
It supports precision measurements in cut wood, chip board, veneer, sawdust, straw, hay, concrete, bricks, plaster, cement mortar, paper, carton and textiles. Resistive material moisture measurement according to DIN EN 13183-2:2002 and device accuracy of \pm0.2 % material moisture support dependable assessment in professional applications.
For documentation-led work, the GMH 3851 adds an integrated data logger with up to 10,000 cyclic data sets and 4 freely programmable material curves. Serial interface or freely scalable 0 ... 1 V analog output makes the measured data available for PC-based evaluation.
GMH 3810 is the compact one hand version with integrated needles.
The device uses resistive material moisture measurement according to DIN EN 13183-2:2002 for wood and building materials.
Absolute moisture values can be automatically converted to water content, depending on the selected characteristic.
External temperature measurement uses a thermocouple NiCr-Ni type K connection, with internal temperature compensation. Specialized probe available: GTF38
A 9-step moisture rating from dry to wet provides an additional assessment of the measured material.
The GMH 3851 stores 4 user-specific characteristics with 20 interpolation points per curve, edited via GMHKonfig software.
