Digital conductivity converter for liquid media, measuring 0...200mS/cm and -50..+200°C. 4-electrode cell with G 1/2 A pipe thread, RS485 Modbus RTU, selectable compensation and IP67 protection.

Introduction

Conductivity monitoring in liquid processes is easier when the measuring cell, compensation and digital communication are combined in one compact device. CONDIX4613 measures specific conductivity and temperature, then provides process values, parameters, identification data and diagnostic data to a master such as PLC or SCADA via RS485 with MODBUS RTU.
 
The 4-electrode principle with cell constant C = 0.4 1/cm covers applications up to 200 mS/cm. It is resistant against pollution and not influenced by polarization effects or wire resistance, supporting reliable measurement in landfill seeping water, seawater and black water treatment on ships.
 
Installation uses pipe thread DIN ISO 228 (DIN 259; BSP), with G 1/2 A process connection and pressure up to max. -1..16 bar. Parameters can be adjusted via the interface or SENSware, while six selectable temperature compensation types help match the liquid.

Parameterization

Selectable modes include no compensation, linear coefficient, natural waters, ASTM-D1125 ultra-pure water, NaCl diluted solution, ASTM-D5391 acidic pure water and ASTM-D5391 alkaline pure water.

Process materials

 Process material consists of PVC-U, casting resin and graphite electrodes.
