Transmitters for illuminance and irradiance monitoring convert Lux and W/m2 values in V(λ), 400…1050 nm, UVA, UVB and UVC ranges into 0…10 Vdc, with IP66 protection and calibrated full-scale output.

Introduction

Reliable light and radiation monitoring helps keep workplaces, public areas and technical processes under control. The HD2021T... transmitter family converts photometric illuminance and radiometric irradiance into a 0…10 Vdc output signal, with 0…1 V, 0…5 V and 4…20 mA versions available for minimum orders of 5 units.
 
The family covers visible illuminance, solar radiation in the 400…1050 nm band, UVA, UVB and UVC irradiance. This makes it suitable for office and production lighting, theatres, museums, sports facilities, roadway lighting, tunnels, nursery-gardening systems, tanning lamp control and UVC monitoring in sewage treatment plants.
 
Installation works indoors and outdoors thanks to ingress protection (IP) IP66. Factory calibration to the ordered full-scale range supports clear integration into data acquisition or control systems, while model-specific filters and photodiodes adjust the spectral response to the required region of interest.

Features

Model-specific sensing

The family uses Si, GaP and SiC photodiodes with filters matched to visible, VIS-NIR, UVA, UVB or UVC measurement tasks.

Factory-calibrated output

The 0…10 V output is calibrated at the factory according to the full-scale range specified at the time of order.

Output variants

Standard output is 0…10 Vdc. Versions with 0…1 V, 0…5 V or 4…20 mA are available on request for minimum orders of 5 units.

Cosine-corrected view

The viewing angle is corrected in accordance with the cosine law for light and irradiance measurement.

Electrical connection

Voltage-output models use GND, +Vdc and Vlux terminals. Current-output models use +Vcc and Iout terminals.

Adjustable sensitivity

A sensitivity potentiometer allows adjustment after installation, for example against a reference luxmeter in the working area.
