Large liquid lines need a clear switching point when flow rises or drops. UBX-032E monitors flow in DN 65, DN 80 and DN 100 pipelines and is suited to water, mineral oil, silicone oil and ester oil. Factory setting in the defined nominal pipe size helps keep commissioning controlled, with different switch values available on request.
Inside the process, a metal-bellows-supported paddle actuates a microswitch with gold contact. The device is built for PN 16 systems and media temperatures from -40...+140 °C, excluding hot steam, with ambient operation from -40...+90 °C. Recommended Qmax. values are 33 m³/h for DN 65, 45 m³/h for DN 80 and 75 m³/h for DN 100 in H2O.
For demanding plant layouts, the oval-flange process connection, brass or stainless steel body options and ingress protection ratings of IP65 / IP67 support reliable integration. Straight inlet and outlet calming sections of 10 x DN and filters for dirty media help protect the adjusted switching behavior.
Switch points are set at the factory in the defined nominal pipe size. Standard minimum values for decreasing flow are specified in H2O; different values are available on request.
The switching element is available as a single changeover contact or double changeover contact. Electrical ratings are specified up to 250 V AC/DC for ohmic loads.
The standard connection uses an oval flange. Device versions include brass or stainless steel wetted components with a zinc-plated steel flange.
The standard version uses an M16x1.5 cable gland for cable diameters from 7...11 mm. DIN 43650-A, Harting and M20x1.5 options are listed.
Horizontal flow is the standard mounting position. Other positions are possible, but the position influences the switching point or switching range.
For oils, the viscosity or designation and temperature are required for ordering. Mineral-oil switch and Qmax values depend on viscosity.
