Process temperature measurement becomes simpler when the sensor fits the plant, not the other way round. This compact temperature transmitter measures temperatures from -50°C...+150°C in pipes and vessels, with standard screw-in threads and hygienic process connections for food-compatible applications.
A long-term stable Pt100 class A sensor according to IEC 60751 provides the measurement basis, while the optional integrated electronics convert the signal into a temperature-linear 4...20 mA output. Direct Pt100 4-wire output is also available. Accuracy down to \leq 0.1K or 0.08% and long-term drift of \leq \pm0.1K or 0.05% FS per year support dependable monitoring in industrial processes.
The stainless steel compact housing, M12 plug connection and ingress protection (IP67) make installation fast and space-saving. Multiple process connections, probe diameters, lengths, reduced tips and neck tube options help adapt the device to different process conditions, including hygienic layouts.
The device uses a Pt100 class A platinum sensor according to IEC 60751 for continuous temperature measurement.
Electronics options include 2-wire 4...20 mA, programmable 2-wire 4...20 mA and direct Pt100 4-wire output.
Connection options include G½" thread, DIN 11851 milk pipe fittings, Varivent®, DRD, DIN flange, Tri-Clamp and a version without fixed connection.
Process-wetted probe materials are 1.4571/316Ti stainless steel, with Ø6 mm, Ø8 mm and Ø10 mm probes plus reduced-tip versions.
Standard measuring ranges include -50...+100°C, -40...+60°C, -30...+150°C, -20...+60°C and 0...+150°C, with special ranges available.
The transmitter can be supplied without neck tube, with 100 mm neck tube or with a selected neck tube length.
The electrical connection is made via M12 plug. The 4...20 mA version operates with 10...35 V DC and reverse polarity protection.
