Lateral liquid level control calls for a compact switch that installs easily and still handles demanding process conditions. This level switch is designed for side mounting and is suitable for liquid applications with process temperatures up to 180 °C.
The adjustable float rod gives installers three possible float positions, allowing the switch point to be adapted to the tank and required level. One or two SPDT microswitches can be specified, with independent separately wired contacts for clear switching signals.
Industrial use is supported by brass or AISI-316 body executions, an AISI-316 float and AISI-303 rod. With 25 bar maximum working pressure, IP65 protection and an operating ambient temperature of -30 /+55 °C at 90% RH, it is a practical choice for compact side-mounted liquid level control.
Type C and Type D rod versions define switch point positions relative to the mechanical axis of the instrument.
The switch uses SPDT microswitch contacts rated for 250V AC, 48V DC and 3A. L1 provides one microswitch and L2 provides two.
The IP65 housing is made from PA6 with glass fiber and includes 6 terminals with a polyamide PG9 cable gland.
The level switch uses a DN 25 process connection with Ø 1" male thread and Parallel UNI 228/1 thread type.
The float is AISI-316 with S.G. 0,7. The supporting rod is AISI-303.
