OEM liquid level control often needs a compact, economical switch that installs cleanly and gives repeatable contact positioning. This standard unit is designed for OEM use, with small dimensions and materials suited to simple liquid level monitoring tasks.
The switching principle uses a magnetic float to actuate a reed contact. The contact is supported by a printed circuit board for positioning and sealed inside the rod with epoxy resin, with polymerization performed in a controlled temperature oven. The only moving element is the float, which moves by hydrostatic thrust.
The unit is constructed entirely in natural polypropylene and uses a white polypropylene rod with M8x1,25 process thread. It is supplied with 500 mm PVC leads, with other lead lengths available on request, and operates up to 4 bar at 25°C and up to 90 °C with minimum ingress protection (IP) rating of IP65.
The switch uses a magnetic float to actuate an SPST reed contact. The float is the only moving element.
The XB SPST contact is rated 10 VA and 10 W, with 100V AC or DC and 0,5A AC or DC ratings.
The contact is NC in no level condition. The NO condition is obtained by turning the float 180°.
Electrical connection is provided by PVC leads with 500 mm standard length. Other lengths are available on request.
The switch uses an M8x1,25 process thread and white polypropylene rod.
The natural polypropylene float has specific gravity 0,52. The listed switch point is for liquids with specific gravity = 1.
