Standard Signal Meter

S1010

Standard signal meter for 0/4 ... 20 mA and 0 ... 10 V DC field signals, with ±9999(0) digit display range, 24 V transmitter supply, up to 2 relay outputs and optional analog output.

Introduction

Field signals are easier to work with when the measured value is visible directly at the installation point. S1010 measures standard 0/4 ... 20 mA and 0 ... 10 V DC signals, displays the scaled value and supports direct connection of 2- and 3-wire transmitters.

The indicating range and decimal point are freely programmable within ±9999(0) digit, allowing the display to match pressure, temperature or other transmitter-based values. A 14.2 mm red LED display provides clear local reading, while the integrated 24 V transmitter supply reduces the need for separate sensor power in many installations.

For local monitoring and signal forwarding, the device can be equipped with up to 2 relay alarm outputs and an analog output. Min./max. switching behavior, hysteresis and on/off delays from 1 s up to 9 h are programmable. The IP65 field case with snap lid and cable glands is suited to field-mounted applications.

Features

Standard signal input

The meter measures 0/4 ... 20 mA current signals and 0 ... 10 V DC voltage signals. The current input has 10 Ω input resistance, and the voltage input is >100 kΩ.

Display configuration

Start value, end value and decimal point position are programmable. A fixed zero setting and indicating correction are also available in the configuration menu.

Digital filter

The selectable digital filter continuously averages the last 16 measured values and shows the result on the display

Alarm outputs

Relay outputs can be configured for minimum or maximum switching. Setpoint, hysteresis, switch-on delay and switch-off delay are programmable.

Analog output

The optional analog output provides 0/4 ... 20 mA or 0/2 ... 10 V DC. The output switches automatically between current and voltage mode depending on burden.

Peak hold options

Optional min. and max. peak hold functions display the stored minimum and maximum readings, which can be reset manually or at power-off.

Supply variants

Supply voltage options include 230 V AC, 115 V AC, 24 V AC and 24 V DC, selected through the ordering code.
