Speed, flow, passing time and revolutions per time often need more than simple indication. This panel meter evaluates impulse rates and converts them into productivity values based on a defined time unit, giving operators a clear local view of time-related process performance.
Two configurable digital inputs support summation, difference, ratio and product measurement, as well as rotary encoder signals. Separate input prescalers, a programmable divisor and factor, and selectable time bases of seconds, minutes or hours help adapt the display to the pulse signal and required unit. The 14.2 mm red LED display shows values across -99999 ... 99999 digit.
For control and monitoring, versions are available with up to four SPDT relay or transistor alarm outputs and an isolated 0/4 ... 20 mA or 0/2 ... 10 V analog output. Integrated 24/8 V DC transmitter supply, hold input and front ingress protection (IP65) make the DIN 96 x 48 mm device practical for automation panels.
The device supports input modes for A up/B down, A up/B up, rotary encoder, ratio or passing time, and percentage deviation calculations.
Input A and input B each have a programmable prescaler from 1 ... 9999 digit, allowing only every n-th impulse to be counted.
Integrated supply provides 24 V DC for PNP initiators and 8 V DC for Namur initiators, with Ri approx. 150 Ω and max. 50 mA.
The display value can be frozen using a 24 V DC control level or a voltage-free contact.
The red LED display uses leading zero suppression. Option 01 adds min. and max. peak-hold functions.
Alarm outputs include selectable min. or max. switching behavior, hysteresis, and on-delay and off-delay times from 1 s up to 9 h.
