Pressure monitoring on machines and compact hydraulic or pneumatic systems often needs a simple switch that can be adapted without complex electronics. PM1 uses a mechanical spring-loaded diaphragm or piston principle to switch pressure in water, oils and gases, with versions for vacuum and relative pressure ranges up to 320 bar.
The switching point is adjustable on versions with 6.3x0.8 flat contacts, using an SW2 hex key between the contacts. For applications that prefer plug-in installation, the family also offers an M12x1 connector version with factory adjustment. The changeover contact switches up to 48 VAC/DC and 2 A, giving a clear electrical interface for pressure-dependent control tasks.
Different process connections, galvanized steel or stainless steel wetted parts, and NBR, EPDM or FKM seals help match the switch to the installation. Depending on the electrical connection, protection reaches IP 54 with rubber cap or IP 67 with M12x1 mating connector.
A spring preloads a diaphragm or piston, and pressure movement triggers the mechanical switch.
The switching function is designed as a changeover contact for pressure-dependent electrical control.
The family includes 3 x 6.3x0.8 flat contacts, with M12x1 circular connector and Deutsch DT04-2P cable outlet listed as options.
Available connection threads include G1/8 B, G1/4 B, R1/8 B, R1/4, 1/8 NPT, 1/4 NPT and M10x1.
Wetted parts are available in galvanized steel or stainless steel, with NBR, EPDM or FKM seals depending on the version.
The pressure switch can be mounted in any orientation.
