Fluid level monitoring in machinery and plant equipment often needs a compact switch that handles direct electrical loads. This mechanical level monitor triggers a micro switch contact-free and supports switching currents up to 5 A at a maximum switching voltage of 250 V AC.
The device is designed for horizontal installation in fluid media such as water and oils. Brass and stainless steel constructions are available, with Spansil or stainless steel float versions and aggressive media available on request. Process connection options include G ¾ A and G 1 A male threads.
For dependable installation, the level switch provides ingress protection (IP) rating IP65 and a DIN 43650-A / ISO 4400 plug connection. The electrical data apply to ohmic loads; capacitive and inductive loads require a protective circuit. The switch position is fixed at the factory.
The device acts as a mechanical level monitor for fluid media and triggers a micro switch without contact.
Male thread options include G ¾ A and G 1 A. The connection piece must be countered with an SW 19 spanner when tightening the union nut.
The source lists Spansil and stainless steel float versions. A PVDF float ball and stainless steel float cylinder are available as options.
The standard electrical connection uses a DIN 43650-A / ISO 4400 plug. An M12x1 4-pole round plug connector is available as an option.
The device is listed for water and oils, with aggressive media available on request. It is not suitable for media with ferritic particles.
Optional equipment includes a red or red/green signal lamp with DIN 43650-A plug and a gold contact version for 125 V AC / 30 V DC, 100 mA.
