UVB irradiance measurement calls for a probe that responds to the right spectral band and keeps the setup straightforward. LPUVB01 measures irradiance in the UVB range and is blind to visible and infrared light, helping technical users focus on the UVB component in indoor monitoring applications.
The probe requires no external power supply. Light reaching the photodiode generates a current, which is converted into a potential difference and read by a suitable voltmeter. The measured value is calculated with the calibration factor marked on the housing, so every probe is used with its own individual sensitivity factor.
With a measuring range of 0…200 mW/cm2, peak response at ≈305 nm, FWHM 31 nm and calibration accuracy below 8%, LPUVB01 gives a compact route to UVB monitoring. Its Ø 30 mm x 38 mm housing, 5 m cable and 0…50°C operating temperature support practical integration into indoor radiometric measurement setups.
