This transmitter family is designed for oils and other viscous media from 30 ... 330 mm²/s, with viscosity-stabilized measuring ranges from 0.5 ... 8 to 12 ... 60 l/min. The spring-supported variable-area principle works without required inlet or outlet runs, helping simplify installation in compact pipework.
For demanding industrial systems, the robust brass or stainless steel versions support pressure ratings of PN 200, with PN 500 available on request. Medium temperatures cover -20 ... +85 °C as standard and up to +150 °C with distance pieces, giving the device a strong fit for higher-temperature applications.
Commissioning and integration stay flexible. IO-Link allows digital configuration and measured value readout, while the analog output can be set to current or voltage ranges. The switching output can also be configured as a limit switch, frequency output, pulse output or preset counter signal.
A magnet-equipped float is deflected against a spring by the flowing medium. Magnetic field sensors detect the float position outside the flow chamber.
