Temperature and humidity transmitter with interchangeable probe

HD2717T

Temperature and humidity transmitter with interchangeable probe, measuring -50...+200 °C and 0...100 %RH with two analog outputs, RS232/RS485, data logging and optional relays.

Introduction

Continuous humidity monitoring is easier to maintain when the probe can be replaced without stopping the process. HD2717T measures temperature and relative humidity, calculates dew point, wet bulb temperature, absolute humidity and mixing ratio, and supports interchangeable vertical or cable probes with SICRAM 2 calibration memory.

The factory-calibrated probe stores its calibration data internally, allowing on-site replacement with minimal interruption. With ±0.25 °C temperature accuracy, ±1.5 %RH accuracy from 0...90 %RH at 15...35 °C and 3 min response time with filter, the transmitter gives HVAC and industrial users dependable environmental data.

Two configurable analog outputs can be set as 0...20 mA, 4...20 mA, 0...10 V or 2...10 V, while RS232 and RS485 support PC connection and network use. Integrated data logging stores up to 9000 samples in 256 sessions, with optional relays for ON/OFF regulation and alarm functions.

Probe swap uptime
SICRAM 2 memory supports probe replacement with minimal process interruption.
Climate insight
Measures RH and temperature, then calculates dew point, AH, MR and wet bulb.
Built-in logging
Stores up to 9000 samples in max. 256 sessions with selectable intervals.
Flexible outputs
Two outputs configure as 0...20 mA, 4...20 mA, 0...10 V or 2...10 V.

Features

Interchangeable probes

The transmitter supports vertical probes or probes with cable. The probe connects via the M16 connector before powering the instrument.

Calculated quantities

In addition to relative humidity and temperature, the instrument calculates absolute humidity, mixing ratio, dew point and wet bulb temperature.

Analog configuration

Each analog output can be independently configured as current or voltage and associated with measured or calculated quantities.

Serial communication

The instrument includes a main RS232/RS485 port and an auxiliary RS232 port for temporary PC connection and configuration.

Data logger

The logging interval can be set to 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 60 seconds or 2 and 4 minutes. Circular memory overwrites the oldest data when full.

Relay options

Models with relays include two SPDT operating relays and one SPST normally open alarm relay for control and alarm functions.
