Indoor air quality monitor for CO2, CO and HVAC checks

HD21ABE17

Indoor air quality monitor for CO2, CO, pressure, temperature and humidity, with 0...5000 ppm CO2, 0...500 ppm CO, 750...1100 hPa Patm, calculated comfort values, 67600-recording memory and USB transfer.

Introduction

Indoor air checks become clearer when the key comfort and safety-related parameters are captured at the same time. This portable IAQ monitor measures CO2, CO, atmospheric pressure, temperature and relative humidity simultaneously, then calculates dew point, wet bulb temperature, absolute humidity, mixing ratio and enthalpy for a fuller view of indoor conditions.

It supports practical work in schools, offices, factories, indoor spaces, HVAC checks and building automation. The backlit 160 x 160 dot matrix display gives direct readings on site, while the 67600-recording data logger stores measurement sessions in 64 blocks for later analysis on a PC.

Factory-calibrated sensors reduce preparation before use. CO2 measurement covers 0...5000 ppm with NDIR Dual Wavelength technology, CO measurement covers 0...500 ppm with an electrochemical cell, and the instrument is referenced to ASHRAE 62.1 for confined spaces used by people.

IAQ in one view
Reads CO2, CO, Patm, temperature and RH simultaneously on a 160 x 160 dot display.
Long logging runs
Stores 67600 recordings in 64 blocks, with intervals from 15 s to 1 hour.
Field-ready handling
Portable ABS and rubber housing weighs 470 g complete with batteries.
Standards aligned
Reference standards include ASHRAE 62.1 for confined spaces used by people.

Features

Calculated comfort values

The instrument calculates dew point, wet bulb temperature, absolute humidity, mixing ratio and enthalpy from the measured indoor air parameters.

Measurement display

A backlit Dot Matrix graphic LCD shows the selected main quantity in larger characters and lists the other detected values on the same screen.

Statistical functions

The FUNC key displays maximum, minimum, average and 1-minute average values for the captured quantities during normal operation.

Programmable logging

Logging sessions can be started manually with the MEM key or programmed with defined start and end dates and times.

USB communication

Logged data can be transferred to a PC through the mini-USB serial port at a fixed transfer speed of 460800 bps.

Calibration functions

The menu supports calibration of CO2, CO and relative humidity sensors, with factory calibration restore available for CO2.
