Three-channel vibration analyzer

HD2070

Portable three-channel vibration analyzer for hand-arm, whole-body and building vibration, with IEPE inputs. Features advanced data logging and optional spectral analyzer, statistical analyzer as well as three channels raw signal recorder.

Introduction

HD2070 is  a portable hand-arm and whole body vibration analyzer able to measure all parameters required by the current normative concerning the operators protection from the health-risk connected with vibrations. It also offers functionalities to evaluate the annoyance of people due to vibrations in buildings.
The analyzer acquires acceleration on three axes through IEPE or equivalent accelerometers and calculates frequency weighted acceleration, RMS, VDV, MTVV, peak, max, min and crest factors. Optional modules add octave or third-octave spectral analysis with IEC 61260 Class 1 filters, statistical analysis in 1dB classes from L1 to L99, and digital recording of raw accelerometer signals.
Designed for field use, HD2070 stores time profiles, spectra and voice comments in 8MB internal memory or on SD card. User-defined setups, records for the last 120 calibrations, RS232 and USB interfaces, and Noise Studio software support help keep measurement campaigns organized and traceable.

Three-axis acquisition
Measures three channels at once for hand-arm, whole-body and building vibration.
Standards Compliant
Meets ISO 8041:2005, ISO 5349-1 and 2:2001, and ISO 2631-1, 2 and 4:1997.
Spectral analysis
Spectral analysis
Multi-channel real time octave and third-octave analysis with filters complying with IEC 61260
Full descriptors
Calculates simultaneously weighted accelerations, peak levels, VDV and crest factors.
Flexible logging
Stores profiles and spectra in 8MB memory or high-capacity SD cards

Features

Three-channel inputs

The analyzer features three independent input channels for the direct connection of IEPE and compatible monoaxial or triaxial accelerometers, providing synchronized multi-channel vibration measurements for advanced signal analysis and diagnostics.

Application Modes

Hand-arm, Whole-body, and Structure-borne vibration modes for 3-axis accelerometers, compliant with ISO 5349 and ISO 2631. The device offers specific modes and settings to easily adapt the selection of sensors, measurement configuration, and spectral range to various measurement activities and applications.

Real-time frequency analysis

Octave and third-octave band analysis provides detailed insight into the frequency distribution of vibration signals, allowing the identification of dominant components and supporting engineers in defining effective mitigation strategies. The feature also assists in detecting potential measurement artefacts and unexpected signal contributions. Octave and third-octave spectra can be viewed as acceleration, velocity or displacement for each frequency band.

Feature can be activated at any time by entering an optional activation code.

Time-Domain logging

The RMS, Peak, VDV, MTVV or dose results such as A(8) and Vector with all required weighting filters for human vibration measurements are stored on a SD card  or internal flash memory. Raw signal recording on all channels is avaible as an option for detailed signal analysis.

Statistical analysis

The instrument calculates optionally probability distribution in 1dB classes and percentile levels from L1 to L99.

PC connection

RS232C and USB interfaces allow instrument control, data download and setup management through Noise Studio.
