Clean air monitoring in ventilation and process environments needs stable air speed data with a clear temperature reference. This active air speed transmitter measures air speed from 0.1…5 m/s with an omnidirectional hotwire probe and also provides temperature measurement from -10…+80 °C.
Configurable analog outputs make integration straightforward. Air speed and temperature can be output as 4…20 mA, 0…20 mA or 0…10 Vdc, selected by internal jumpers, with 0…1 Vdc or 0…5 Vdc available on request. The output signal is available from dedicated terminals for air speed and temperature.
Factory calibration reduces setup effort, provided the matched probe and instrument remain together. The probe connects to the electronics via a 5 m cable, while the electronics housing offers IP67 protection and 120 x 80 x 55 mm dimensions. The probe is intended for clean air with relative humidity below 80%.
The transmitter measures air speed with an omnidirectional hotwire probe mounted on a 5 m cable.
Separate outputs are provided for air speed and temperature using current or voltage signals.
Internal jumpers select the output type for both measured parameters.
The delicate sensor at the probe tip uses a transport cylinder and a protective cover for installation.
Each probe is calibrated with its instrument and should not be exchanged with another transmitter.
Standard supply is 24 Vac ±10%, with 110 Vac or 230 Vac available on request.
