Temperature measurement in explosive atmospheres needs a probe that matches both the Ex zone and the process connection. This resistance temperature probe is designed as a compact threaded insertion sensor for hazardous industrial areas and hard-to-access measuring points.
Pt100 and Pt1000 versions use sheathed resistance thermometer elements in 4-wire design. Depending on configuration, Pt100 versions cover -50 ... +100 °C without neck tube or -200 ... +600 °C with neck tube. Pt1000 versions with neck tube cover -70 ... +600 °C.
The standard GTF 102-Ex design includes a G 1/2"A thread, 100 mm probe length and 6 mm probe tube diameter. Silicone, PVC and Teflon cable options are listed for Pt100 and Pt1000 versions, while configurable tube diameters, neck tube designs and thread types support different installation requirements.
The probe is available with sheathed Pt100 or Pt1000 resistance thermometer elements in class B.
Pt100 and Pt1000 versions use a 4-wire electrical connection for the measuring circuit.
