Hazardous industrial areas need temperature measurement that fits the Ex zone and the process limits. This resistance temperature probe is designed as a compact insertion sensor for explosive atmospheres and is suitable for hard-to-access measuring points.
Pt100 and Pt1000 versions use sheathed resistance thermometer elements in 4-wire design. Depending on configuration, Pt100 versions cover -50 ... +100 °C without neck tube or -200 ... +600 °C with neck tube. Pt1000 versions with neck tube cover -70 ... +600 °C.
The standard GTF 101-Ex design uses a 100 mm probe length, 6 mm probe tube diameter and fixed connection cable. Silicone, PVC and Teflon cable options are listed for Pt100 and Pt1000 versions, while configurable probe tube diameters from 3 to 8 mm support different installation requirements.
The probe is available with Pt100 or Pt1000 sheathed resistance thermometer elements in class B.
Pt100 and Pt1000 versions use a 4-wire electrical connection for the measuring circuit.
The standard GTF 101-Ex version has a 100 mm probe length, 6 mm tube diameter and wall thickness of at least 1.0 mm.
Versions with neck tube are listed with a standard neck tube length of 50 mm.
Pt100 and Pt1000 versions can use silicone cable, PVC cable or Teflon cable with 4 x 0.14 mm² conductors.
Possible probe tube diameters are 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 mm, depending on the selected configuration.
The cable gland is specified with IP68 - 10 bar
