Digital Pt100 probe for portable temperature measurement

DX 11x

Digital Pt100 probe for portable temperature measurement with thin film or wire wound Pt100 sensors, -196...500 °C depending on variant, 0.01 °C resolution, M12 connection (DX) and stored calibration data.

Introduction

Temperature checks in the field need probes that can be changed quickly without losing measurement confidence. The DX 11x family stores calibration data in the probe, allowing interchangeable use on PRO D01 / PRO D05 handheld meters and other compatible DX-input instruments without adjustment.

The family covers immersion, insertion and surface measurement with thin film or wire wound Pt100 sensors, depending on variant. Measuring ranges extend up to -196...500 °C, with 0.01 °C resolution and accuracy values down to ±0.05 °C at 0 °C on DX 115 versions. Integrated digitizing electronics in the connector body use 4-wire technology and thermo-voltage compensation to reduce temperature effects.

Designed for professional portable use, the probes combine an ergonomic PA6-GF30 handle rated up to 120 °C with AISI 316 stems and PVC cable options of 1, 2 or 5 m. Immersion and insertion versions are protected to IP67, while the surface version uses a silver contact surface for improved thermal transfer.

Change probes faster
Stored calibration data allow interchangeable use without recalibration.
Wide task coverage
Immersion, insertion and surface variants cover -196...+500 °C depending on version.
Reliable accuracy
Pt100 sensing gives 0.01 °C resolution and up to ±0.05 °C at 0 °C on DX 115.
Built for field use
AISI 316 stems, PA6-GF30 handle and IP67 protection on immersion and insertion probes.

Features

Pt100 sensor variants

The family includes thin film Pt100 sensors for DX 111 versions and wire wound Pt100 sensors for DX 115 versions.

Probe geometries

Available designs include 3 mm immersion and insertion probes, a bendable mineral-insulated immersion probe and a Ø6 mm surface probe.

Digital probe electronics

Digitizing electronics are integrated in the connector body and include 4-wire technology with thermo-voltage compensation.

User adjustment

The probes can be adjusted in two points by offset and slope, or by setting R0 and Callendar-Van Dusen parameters.

Connection and cables

Each probe uses a 4-pole M12 connection with PVC cable lengths of 1, 2 or 5 m.

Surface contact design

The DX 111-S6 version uses a silver contact surface and a rigid 4 mm probe stem for surface temperature measurement.
