Water circuits that need a defined flow rate should not depend on complex control equipment. This mechanical flow limiter keeps the volume flow nearly constant as differential pressure changes, helping protect downstream processes from excessive flow with a compact, purely mechanical component.
The WK family is designed for liquid media and H2O regulation from 1 to 15 l/min. As flow tends to increase, an elastomer is compressed and restricts the passage, creating a near-constant flow quantity across a differential pressure range of 2...10 bar. Operation requires no auxiliary energy, which simplifies installation and reduces the need for electrical infrastructure.
With DN 15 to DN 25 sizes, G1/2 to G1 female threads and installation in any orientation, the WK fits easily into different water lines. Brass and stainless steel wetted material versions are available, with POM, EPDM and 1.4571 components, for media and ambient temperatures from 0...+65 °C.
The flow limiter uses an elastomer that compresses as volume flow increases. This changes the flow passage and creates a near-constant regulated quantity.
The family covers DN 15, DN 20 and DN 25 versions with G1/2, G3/4 and G1 female thread connections.
Wetted parts are available in a brass version with CW614N or a stainless steel version with 1.4305. Both include POM, EPDM and 1.4571 wetted components.
The device is specified for water, a differential pressure range of 2...10 bar and media and ambient temperatures from 0...+65 °C.
Options include female thread inlet with male thread outlet, special quantities, selection and bypass versions.
