Reliable flow monitoring starts with a simple, robust switching principle. Designed for water applications in DN 15...80 pipework, this flow switch uses a spring-supported paddle with magnetic actuation of a reed switch, giving plant operators a compact solution for detecting flow conditions in process and utility lines.
The low pressure loss supports efficient operation, while the solder or weld socket connection helps create a secure installation in the pipeline. Switching ranges from 5...174 l/min H2O and recommended Qmax. values up to 600 l/min allow use across different nominal sizes. The UR1 version uses a brass switch unit and can be adjusted on site by repositioning the switching tube.
For reliable operation, the device is designed for horizontal flow as standard, with other mounting positions possible where the effect on the switching point is considered. Water is the standard medium; oils, gases and aggressive media are available on request. Pressure resistance is up to PN 25, with media temperatures from -20...+110 °C and an optional version up to 150 °C.

The UR1 version uses a brass switch unit and supports on-site adjustment of the switching tube position.
The V connection version is designed with solder or weld sockets. Other connection types are available on request.
Water is specified as the standard medium. Oils, gases and aggressive media can be configured on request.
Standard installation is horizontal flow. Other positions are possible, but the mounting position affects the switching point or range.
The switch is connected with a load in series. Capacitive, inductive and lamp loads require protective circuitry.
