Flow switch for water with internal thread, PN 25

UR1-G

Flow switch for water monitoring with DN 10...50 and H2O switching ranges from 1.3 to 53 l/min. Reed switch, compact threaded body and PN 25 pressure resistance support reliable line integration.

Introduction

Monitoring flow in water lines should not add unnecessary restriction or space demand. The UR1-G keeps installation compact while supporting dependable switching via a spring-supported paddle with magnetic actuation of a reed switch.

It is designed for threaded pipe connections from G 3/8 to G 2 and covers DN 10...50, with H2O switching ranges from 1.3 to 53 l/min and recommended Qmax values up to 150 l/min. This makes it suitable for many industrial water monitoring tasks where a defined flow threshold needs to be signaled without complex instrumentation.

The UR1 version offers PN 25 pressure resistance and media temperatures from -20...+110 °C, with an optional version up to 150 °C. Brass and stainless steel versions are available, allowing the wetted materials to be matched to the medium and application. For correct operation, a straight calming section of 5 x DN is recommended upstream and downstream.

Features

Paddle switching principle

The device uses a spring-supported paddle with magnetic actuation of a reed switch to detect the selected flow threshold.

Threaded connections

Internal thread versions cover nominal sizes from DN 10 to DN 50, with connection sizes from G 3/8 to G2.

Adjustable UR1 switch point

The switching tube can be moved into the required position after loosening the screws, then fixed again.

Material versions

Brass and stainless steel versions are available with defined wetted materials, including nickel-plated brass or stainless steel components.

Installation position

Standard operation is based on horizontal flow. Other mounting positions are possible, but they influence the switching point or range.

Media options

Water is specified as the standard medium. Oils, gases and aggressive media are available on request.
