Process pH and ORP measurements need clear local operation, stable analog outputs and electrode monitoring that supports planned maintenance. UNICON-pH converts signals from common pH and ORP electrodes for use in food technology, chemistry, pharmaceutical applications and sewage-water technology.
The converter can be used for head mounting directly at the electrode or for field mounting with a separate connection cable. Its programmable measuring range covers -1.00..+15.00 pH or -1500..+1500 mV, with 4..20 mA output for pH/ORP and, depending on model, an additional 4..20 mA output for temperature.
Temperature compensation is selectable for Pt100 or Pt1000 sensors, while 1- or 2-point calibration and multiple buffer sets support practical electrode adjustment. Model 2 adds a second measuring range, glass and reference impedance monitoring, and calibration interval monitoring from 1..1000 days.
The converter works with all common pH and ORP electrodes with electrode zero point pH 7.00.
The pH/ORP measuring range is programmable from -1.00..+15.00 pH or -1500..+1500 mV.
Pt100 and Pt1000 sensors are selectable via software, with programmable °C or °F unit.
The device supports 1- or 2-point calibration, manual buffer input, zero point and slope entry, and ORP setup.
Two transistor alarm outputs are available, with programmable switching performance as minimum or maximum function.
Parameters are set via a front-side membrane keypad and shown on a 2-line LCD dot matrix display.
Model 2 provides a second measuring range for pH/ORP, switchable by an external control signal.
The head-field case uses PA6-GF/GK 15/15 material, IP65 protection and screw terminals with pressure plate.
