Reliable flow monitoring matters where pumps, cooling circuits or process lines need a clear switching signal without adding unnecessary pressure loss. This compact flow switch uses a spring-supported paddle principle with magnetic actuation of a micro switch, giving operators a practical way to monitor water flow in DN 15...80 pipe sizes.
The device covers switching ranges from 10.0 - 268.0 l/min H_2O, with recommended Qmax values up to 450 l/min depending on nominal diameter. It is designed for solder or weld sockets and is available in brass or stainless steel versions, with wetted materials matched to the selected construction.
For demanding installation environments, the flow switch combines PN 25 pressure resistance, media temperatures from -20...+110 °C and ingress protection (IP65). The DIN 43650-A / ISO 4400 connector supports straightforward electrical integration, while options such as an M12x1 connector or red and red/green indicator lamps adapt the device to different control cabinet and machine layouts.
The device works with a spring-supported paddle and magnetic actuation of a micro switch.
The family covers DN 15...80, grouped into UM3K-015V., UM3K-025V. and UM3K-050V. types.
The V connection version uses solder or weld sockets. Other connection types are available on request.
The micro switch operates as a changeover contact, with a maximum switching voltage of 250 V AC and maximum current of 3 A.
Wetted parts are available in brass construction or stainless steel construction, with elastomers and magnetic components specified by version.
The switching point is adjusted via a slotted setting screw under the slider, then secured by closing the slider.
The datasheet specifies a straight calming section of 5 x DN in the inlet and outlet.
Standard use is for water. Switching ranges for oil, gas and aggressive media are available on request.
