Flow monitoring in water lines often has to fit into limited installation space without adding unnecessary pressure loss. This compact threaded flow switch helps you monitor flow reliably in machine, plant and utility water circuits, using a spring-supported paddle with magnetic actuation of a microswitch.
The family covers DN 10...50 with G 3/8...G 2 female threads and selectable H2O switching ranges from 4.0 - 5.5 l/min up to 67.0 - 93.0 l/min. The switching point can be adjusted via a slotted setting screw, giving installers a practical way to match the device to the selected range.
Designed for industrial operating conditions, the unit offers PN 25 pressure resistance, media temperatures from -20...+110 °C and ingress protection (IP65). Brass and stainless steel versions are available, while oil, gas, aggressive media and special ranges can be specified on request.
The device uses a spring-supported paddle with magnetic actuation of a microswitch to monitor flow in the pipe.
The switch provides a changeover contact with max. 250 V AC and max. 3 A for ohmic loads. Capacitive and inductive loads require protective circuitry.
The standard plug follows DIN 43650-A / ISO 4400. An M12x1, 4-pin round connector and red or red/green indicator lamps are available as options.
Wetted parts are available in brass versions with nickel-plated CW617N/CW614N and in stainless steel versions using 1.4305 and 1.4571.
Standard mounting is horizontal flow. Other installation positions are possible, but the mounting position affects the switching point or range.
A straight calming section of 5 x DN is specified at the inlet and outlet, with filters recommended for contaminated media.
