Flow switch for water lines, DN 25 to DN 200

UB1

Flow switch for water lines that monitors flow in DN 25 to DN 200 pipes, with 1.2...34 m3/h switching ranges, Qmax. up to 75 m3/h, microswitch output, transparent cover and ingress protection (IP65).

Introduction

Flow assurance in water pipework depends on a switching point you can verify and adjust on site. The UB1 family monitors flow with a metal bellows-supported paddle that actuates a microswitch, giving plant operators a clear switching function for pipe sizes from DN 25...200.

The transparent cover supports visual function checks, while the switching range of 1.2...34 m3/h and recommended Qmax. up to 75 m3/h cover a broad range of water applications. The device is rated for PN 16, medium temperatures from -20...+140 °C and ambient temperatures from -20...+70 °C, excluding hot steam.

For practical integration, the flow switch is available with R 1" external thread or flange connection. Gold-coated and silver-coated microswitch contacts support small and larger currents, and the housing provides ingress protection (IP65) for industrial environments.

Features

Paddle switching principle

The device uses a metal bellows-supported paddle to actuate a microswitch as the flow condition changes in the pipe.

Adjustable switching point

The switch position is set by opening the cover, loosening the microswitch fixing screw, moving the switch and tightening the screw again.

Electrical connection

The standard electrical connection is a DIN 43650-A / ISO 4400 plug. A 4-pole M12x1 connector is available as an option with max. 4 A.

Connection versions

The family includes an R 1" external thread version and a flange version according to DIN 2527 DN 32 PN 16 with sealing face according to DIN 2526 Form C.

Installation orientation

Standard installation is horizontal flow. Other positions are possible, but the mounting position affects the switching point or switching range.

Material versions

Wetted materials are specified for brass and stainless steel versions. Non-wetted materials include PC and PA.

Listed options

Options include signal lamp, double contact, aluminum hood with ingress protection (IP67), opaque cover, oil switching ranges and special quantities.
