Universal isolating amplifier

TV125L

Universal isolating amplifier for analog unit signals, with switchable 0/4..20 mA and 0/2..10 V inputs, 0/4..20 mA current output, 40ms step response and 12.5 mm TS35 rail housing.

Introduction

Clean signal separation helps control systems read analog values reliably, especially in compact cabinets with many field signals. TV125L provides potential isolation and conversion of unit signals in one universal device, reducing the need for several dedicated amplifier types.

Current and voltage inputs are configured by front DIP switches for 0..20 mA, 4..20 mA, 0..10 V or 2..10 V. The output can be set to 0..20 mA or 4..20 mA, while microprocessor-controlled measurement logging detects range undercutting and exceeding and indicates the state via a two-colour LED.

The three circuits, input, output and auxiliary voltage, are galvanically separated with reinforced isolation. A 40ms step response, standard error <0.2 % of final value and current input overload protection up to 32 V AC/DC support reliable operation in process and automation cabinets.

Features

Configurable input ranges

The front DIP switches set current input ranges of 0..20 mA or 4..20 mA and voltage input ranges of 0..10 V or 2..10 V.

Current output ranges

The analog output is selectable as 0..20 mA or 4..20 mA and is provided at the active current output terminals.

Microprocessor signal processing

Input signals are filtered, digitized with 14-bit resolution, checked against the measuring range and transmitted to the output stage.

Defined output behavior

If the measuring range is undercut or exceeded, the current output moves to a defined starting or final value.

Plug-in terminals

The device uses plug-in screw terminals with wire guard for conductors from 0.2…2.5mm².

Power Rail version

TV125LP supplies auxiliary voltage via Power Rail; TV125L uses terminal pins 11 and 12.
