Mechanical flow indicator for liquid media, DN 15 to DN 50

SK

Mechanical flow indicator for liquid media, showing water flow from 3 to 195 l/min across DN 15 to DN 50 sizes, with G 1/2 to G 2 female threads, PN 16 bar pressure resistance and natural glass windows.

Introduction

Local flow checks are easier when the indication is visible, mechanical and independent of electronics. A stainless steel flap in the flow chamber rises with the volume flow and shows the current flow rate through large double-sided windows.

Built for liquid media, the family covers water indication ranges from 3 - 25 l/min up to 15 - 195 l/min H2O. Nominal sizes from DN 15 to DN 50 and G 1/2 to G 2 female threads give plant builders and maintenance teams practical options for different pipe sizes, while PN 16 bar pressure resistance supports use in liquid circuits.

The design suits demanding temperature conditions, with 0...+100 °C for water and -20...+170 °C for oils on request. Wetted materials include cast tin bronze, grey cast iron, Kronhartglas, Flexicarb with nickel reinforcement and 1.4436 stainless steel. Standard installation is horizontal flow from the left; bottom-to-top flow is available as an option.

Features

Mechanical flap principle

A stainless steel flap arranged in the flow chamber is lifted by the volume flow and indicates the current flow rate.

Indication ranges

The family provides scaled water ranges from 3 - 25 l/min to 15 - 195 l/min H2O, with recommended Qmax values up to 250 l/min.

Connection versions

The ordering range covers nominal sizes DN 15, DN 20, DN 25, DN 40 and DN 50 with G female threads.

Media specification

The standard medium is water. Oils can be specified on request according to the source data.

Installation orientation

The standard version is for horizontal flow from the left. Bottom-to-top flow is available as an option, and the installation position affects the range.

Scale graduation

Scale divisions from 1 to 10 provide the visual reference for the indicated flow range.
