Compact liquid tanks often need a lateral level switch that fits easily without compromising process robustness. This level switch offers reduced dimensions and simple installation for liquid control applications that require side mounting.
The standard version is installed from inside the tank, with outside-tank mounting available on request. A reed contact provides the switching function, with SPST or SPDT contact options. ATEX Exia construction supports use in certified applications where this approval is required.
AISI-316 construction for the body, float and lever mechanism supports reliable use with compatible liquids. The switch handles maximum working pressure of 30 bar and maximum working temperature of 110 °C, with IP65 protection and a compact 190 g design.
The standard version mounts from inside the tank. Execution for mounting from outside the tank is available on request.
Electrical contact options include SPST and SPDT reed contacts, with power ratings of 70 VA or 50 VA.
Electrical output is provided by cable with IP65 protection or M12 plug with IP67 protection. Cable length options are 1,5 m and 3,0 m.
The switch uses DN 16 process connection with M16 x 1,5 male thread. Assembly from outside is available on request.
The S52 float is made from AISI-316 and has S.G. 0,67. Hysteresis is 8 mm.
