Side liquid level control is easier to integrate when the switch is compact and installed from outside the tank. This level switch is designed for applications that require side mounting, with inside-tank mounting executions available on request.
The AISI-316 body, float and lever mechanism support robust use in liquid applications, while the reed contact provides the switching function. SPST and SPDT contact versions are listed, giving users a choice between simple switching and changeover contact behavior.
The standard process connection is 1/2" NPT, with 1/2" BSP available as an option. Electrical connection variants include M12, DIN-43650A and cable gland, with IP67 protection for M12 and DIN-43650A versions and IP65 for the cable gland version. A Pt100 or Pt1000 integrated temperature sensor is available as an option.

The standard male thread is 1/2" NPT. A 1/2" BSP thread is available as an option.

The body material, float material and lever mechanism material are specified as AISI-316.
The float is specified with S.G. 0,75 for the listed RW2-015 variants.
