Liquid level monitoring is easier to adapt when the switching point can be set during installation. This adjustable level switch is supplied in 500 or 1000 mm rod lengths, with intermediate lengths obtained by shortening the float rod to the required switch point.
The instrument uses a micro-switch in the head, actuated by hydrostatic thrust on the closed cell float. This supports rugged operation with limited maintenance need, while the SPDT changeover contact provides a practical output for control and alarm functions.
Threaded and flanged mounting options help the switch fit different tank designs. The float is made from SPANSIL butadiene acrylonitrile copolymer closed cells, with an AISI 316 rod and PA66 process connection.
