Liquid level monitoring becomes simpler when the switch point can be set directly during installation. This adjustable level switch is designed for industrial and civil environments, with intermediate lengths obtained by shortening the float rod from the 500 or 1000 mm standard versions.
The reed switch is located in the head of the instrument and is actuated by the hydrostatic thrust on the closed cell float. This construction supports rugged operation with limited maintenance need, while SPST or SPDT sealed contact versions allow the electrical function to match the control task.
Installation is available with threaded or flanged mounting. The float is made from SPANSIL butadiene acrylonitrile copolymer closed cells, with AISI 316 rod material and nickel plated brass process connection. A DIN 43650 plug, NBR flat gasket anti-oil, IP65 protection and -30 / +55 °C ambient operation support practical use on site.
The switch is offered in 500 and 1000 mm standard rod lengths. Intermediate lengths are obtained by shortening the float rod.
The float is specified as SPANSIL butadiene acrylonitrile copolymer closed cells, with Ø 30 x 77 mm dimensions and S.G. 0,4.
The switch is available with SPST N.C. or N.O. contact, or with an SPDT changeover contact.
SPST models allow the contact function to be changed from NC to NO by repositioning internal components as described in the instructions.
