Bilge pump control on board needs a switch that can be checked on site and trusted in demanding marine environments. This electro-mechanical level switch is designed for bilge pump operation in ships and boats, with RINA Naval Certification and Exia ATEX Certification.
A magnetic float housed in a metal body follows the liquid level and activates a reed contact at the fixed switch point. The integrated test device allows an on/off switch test on site, helping crews verify function without removing the switch from service.
The construction uses AISI-316L for the body, float, guide rod and bracket, supporting use in harsh onboard conditions. With a maximum working pressure of 10 bar, maximum working temperature of 105 °C, ambient range of -30 / +55 °C at 90% RH and minimum ingress protection (IP) rating of IP68, it is built for reliable bilge level monitoring.
A magnetic float follows the liquid level inside a metal body and activates a reed contact at the predetermined switch point.
The level switch uses one fixed switch point for bilge pump operating control.
The switch provides one SPDT contact rated for 230V AC or DC and 1A AC or DC.
Electrical output is provided via armored PVC cable 3x0,75, available in 5 m or 10 m length.
Body, bracket, float and guide rod are made from AISI-316L. The float is suitable for liquids with density above 0,65 g/cm3.
