Side-mounted liquid level control is often the practical choice when tank access or space is limited. This compact level switch is designed for lateral installation and offers simple mounting for applications that require reliable liquid switching up to 120 °C.
The adjustable rod supporting the float allows the switch point to be matched to the tank and required level. Depending on the configuration, the switch can be supplied with one or two SPDT microswitches, with separately wired independent contacts for clear switching control.
Process compatibility is supported by brass or AISI-316 executions, a B77 SPANSIL float and AISI-303 rod. With 10 bar maximum working pressure, IP65 protection and operating ambient temperature from -30 /+55 °C at 90% RH, it is suited to industrial liquid level applications where a reduced-size lateral switch is needed.
Type C and Type D rod versions define different switch point positions relative to the mechanical axis of the instrument.
The switch uses SPDT microswitch contacts rated for 250V AC, 48V DC and 3A. L1 provides one microswitch and L2 provides two.
The IP65 housing is made from PA6 with glass fiber and includes 6 terminals with a polyamide PG9 cable gland.
The level switch uses a DN 25 process connection with Ø 1" male thread and Parallel UNI 228/1 thread type.
The float is B77 SPANSIL - Butadiene Acrylonitrile Copolymer with S.G. 0,4. The supporting rod is AISI-303.
The float can be placed in 3 positions. A PTFE sealing gasket must be inserted between the level control and the tank.
