Retrofitting flow measurement into an existing pipeline is straightforward with this compact insertion transmitter. Designed for pipe diameters from DN 32, it measures flow velocity from 0.3...6 m/s and can be installed using a welding socket or tapping clamp. This makes it suitable for monitoring fluid flow where a full measuring section is not required.
Choose the output that fits your control system: PNP/NPN, NAMUR, 4...20 mA, 0...10 V, programmable frequency up to 2 kHz or a limit switch. The plastic housing, IP65 ingress protection and PN 10 pressure rating support use in industrial installations. Short-circuit and reverse-polarity protection are available for the electrical outputs.
The transmitter uses a paddle wheel to measure fluid flow velocity.
An insertion probe with union nut is used for installation in the pipeline. The union nut is tightened to 30 Nm.
The product family includes fixed-range and adjustable versions with different electrical output configurations.
The F version provides a programmable push-pull frequency output up to 2 kHz.
Media-contacting components include PVC, PVDF, 1.4310 or titanium, ceramic ZrO2-TZP, FKM, EPDM or NBR, depending on the configuration.
The transmitter is available with a 2 m cable or a 4-pin M12x1 circular connector.
