Accurate atmospheric pressure data supports better decisions in meteorology, environmental logging, cleanrooms and compensation tasks. The PBS860... / PBS880... series uses a temperature-compensated piezoresistive sensor to convert barometric pressure into an analog output signal.
Two measuring ranges cover common station requirements: 600…1100 hPa for PBS860 and 800…1100 hPa for PBS880. Depending on the model, output is 2-wire 4…20 mA, 0…1 V, 0…5 V or 0…10 V. Factory calibration, ± 0.5 hPa accuracy at 20 °C and long-term stability below 0.25% F.S. over 6 months support dependable integration with data loggers and control systems.
The IP65 polycarbonate housing mounts to a wall through internal fixing holes. For outdoor measurements, the optional static pressure port with mast bracket and silicone tube reduces wind-flow influence, with deviation below 0.3 hPa at 20 m/s when used.
PBS860 measures 600…1100 hPa, while PBS880 measures 800…1100 hPa for barometric applications.
The temperature-compensated sensor provides stable, repeatable atmospheric pressure measurement.
Models are available with 2-wire 4…20 mA current loop or 0…1 V, 0…5 V and 0…10 V voltage outputs.
The sensor is factory calibrated and includes a zero adjustment potentiometer for offset calibration to station elevation.
The transmitter uses a polycarbonate housing with IP65 protection and internal holes for wall mounting.
Mounting the pressure input downward helps reduce dust and dirt accumulation on the input.
The optional static port includes a support bracket for Ø30…50 mm mast mounting and a silicone tube connection.
Power supply and output are connected via an internal screw terminal header and PG7 cable gland.
