Viscous oil can be difficult to monitor with confidence when viscosity changes across operating conditions. This screw flow transmitter uses a volumetric screw principle for oil and other non-aggressive, lubricating fluids, measuring 1.4...1500 l/min with low viscosity dependency and suitability up to 40,000 mm²/s (cSt).
The device gives operators clear local information and usable control signals in one unit. A 1.2 inch graphic LCD shows the flow direction, while the totalizer counts up or down depending on that direction. The integrated electronics provide IO-Link, selectable analog outputs and two transistor outputs configurable for limit switching, pulse, frequency or preset counter functions.
Built for industrial pipework, the family covers DN 25...DN 50 with G 1...G 2 internal threads. IP65 / IP67 ingress protection, -20...+85 °C media temperature and PN160 or PN350 pressure ratings, depending on connection material and flange version, support use in demanding oil flow monitoring tasks.
Two intermeshing measuring screws rotate with the flowing medium. An external sensor detects the screw flanks and generates a flow-proportional frequency signal.
The flow chamber contains no magnets. One pulse corresponds to a defined measuring volume.
The electronics detect the flow direction and use it to control the integrated totalizer, which counts additively or subtractively.

Versions are available with G 1...G 2 internal threads. SAE flanges are available as accessories for installation in the pipeline.
