Compact liquid flow measurement is easier to plan when the sensor fits the pipework instead of forcing the pipework to fit the sensor. The OMNIPLUS-RRI family measures water and other low-viscosity liquids with a paddle-wheel principle and covers 0.1...12 l/min in DN 10.
Installation stays flexible in tight process layouts: no inlet or outlet runs are required, and the mechanical connection can be configured with internal thread, external thread or hose nozzle options. Pluggable and rotatable electrical connections support clean wiring on site.
For day-to-day confidence, the rotor uses a break-resistant ceramic axle running in long-life special plastic bearings. Users get local process visibility on a 1.2 inch graphical LCD, plus IO-Link, selectable analog output signals and two configurable transistor outputs for integration into automation systems.
The flowing medium rotates a PVDF rotor with metal clips. An inductive sensor mounted outside the flow chamber detects the rotor speed, which is linear to the flow rate.
The integrated electronics can be configured on the device and provide a 1.2 inch graphical LCD with white backlight and red alarm indication.
The family includes variants with internal thread, external thread or hose nozzle connection options. Other threads and connection systems are available on request.
The housing is PPS as standard or PVDF for higher chemical resistance requirements. Seal options include FKM, EPDM or NBR, with stainless steel or titanium clips.
The two transistor outputs can be configured on the device as limit switch, frequency output, pulse output or preset counter signal output.
Connection is via a 5-pin M12x1 circular connector. The protection rating is IP65 / IP67.
