Piston inline flow transmitter

OMNIPLUS-HD1

Flow measurement with spring-supported piston for water and low-viscous media

Introduction

The flow transmitters of the OMNIPLUS-HD1 series work according to the principle of the spring-supported piston. A magnetically equipped piston is deflected by the flowing medium against the force of a spring. Deflection is a measure of flow rate. The position of the floating body is recorded outside the flow chamber with the help of magnetic field sensors.

Features

Spring-supported flow measurement

The transmitter measures flow using a spring-supported variable area principle, with the float position detected by magnetic field sensors outside the flow chamber.

Flow ranges and sizes

The family covers nominal sizes from DN 8 to DN 25 with measuring ranges from 0.1 ... 1 l/min up to 8.0 ... 80 l/min for water.

Mechanical connection

The devices use female threads from G 1/4 to G 1, with additional connection types available on request.

Analog output

The analog output can be configured as 4 ... 20 mA, 0 ... 20 mA, 0 ... 10 V, 2 ... 10 V, 0 ... 5 V, 1 ... 5 V or 0.5 ... 4.5 V.

IO-Link interface

The device supports IO-Link V1.1 with COM2 transmission, SIO mode, block parameterization and data storage.

Display and operation

A graphical 1.2 inch LCD shows measured values and alarm states, with white backlighting and red backlighting for alarm messages.

Housing versions

The product family is available in brass or stainless steel versions and provides IP65/IP67 protection for industrial use.
